Alumnae Events

Phi Mu Gamma Tau hosts our first "alumnae" event before our seniors even graduate from JHU. Our Third Dimension (3D) ceremony is very special to our sisters and our seniors. Each May we host 3D for the entire chapter to honor our seniors before commencement ceremonies. 3D showcases the life that Phi Mu women can have after college—Gamma Tau women have gone on to join various Phi Mu alumnae chapters all around the United States. After our ritual 3D ceremony, Phi Mu takes part in a catered lunch with short speeches for all graduating Bigs from their Littles, a full slideshow of the senior class, a candle passing ceremony with seniors discussing their future plans, and a concluding speech from the graduating President, who reflects on her time in Phi Mu and the amazing memories the chapter has shared over the years.

Each fall, Johns Hopkins organizes a Young Alumni Weekend, for recent graduates.  Phi Mu welcomes back our most current alumnae to campus and hosts an annual event for all sisters to get together and be a part of college life once again.

Phi Mu Gamma Tau holds our annual alumnae event every year in the Spring, during Johns Hopkins' Homecoming Weekend. We invite all of our alumnae to spend time with the current sisters and catch up with old friends at our Pink Lemonade Brunch. We host a brunch for our alumnae outside the Milton S. Eisenhower Library, and enjoy talking about Gamma Tau's history and future!

Phi Mu Gamma Tau also has a strong mentorship network. Through our “Phi Mu to Phi Mu” Alumnae Mentorship Program we are able to facilitate career development and strengthen the bonds between alumnae and current sisters. Please reach out to phimugammatau@gmail.com if you would like to join the network.
