Recognition

Phi Mu Gamma Tau has been widely recognized for our many individual and fraternal achievements. On a university and National scale, Phi Mu at Johns Hopkins has received a number of awards and accolades for excellence in academics, philanthropy, programming, leadership, and Panhellenic unity. Phi Mu is also well represented at the Greek Awards each year.

At the 2016 Phi Mu National Convention, Gamma Tau was recognized for the following achievements for the 2014-2016 biennium:

  • Academic Honor Roll Award
  • Lending a Helping Hand Award
  • Chapter Total Reward
  • Formal Recruitment Quota Award

At the 2016 Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards, Phi Mu was honored with the Excellence in Philanthropy Award, owing to the chapter's extraordinary philanthropic efforts during the 2015-2016 school year.

At the 2012 Phi Mu National Convention, Gamma Tau was recognized for the following achievements for the 2010-2012 biennium:

  • Outstanding Initiation Award
  • Legacy Recognition Award
  • Philomathean Society (90+ on CTE Biennium)
  • Outstanding Cumulative GPA Honorable Mention
  • Chapter Total Award
  • Perfect Ten on Finance Portion of CTE for one year
  • Formal Recruitment Quota Award 
  • Academic Honor Roll Award

At the 2010 Phi Mu National Convention, Gamma Tau was recognized for the following achievements for the 2008-2010 biennium: 

  • Outstanding Initiation Record
  • Legacy Recognition Award
